I received the following information about requested submissions for an upcoming anthology. The deadline is November 23, 2006. I thought the project may be of some interest to current and former participants in the Colorado Springs Creative Writing Workshops.
Sharon Alworth and Bonnie Birnam--are undertaking an enormously exciting venture: creation of the book Letters to Our Fathers from Daughters: A Pathway to Healing and Hope. We know that there are thousands of women who would like to share stories of how their fathers helped shape who they are today. Some stories are happy; some not. All point to lessons learned and triumphs gained, although the process may have been different from what we originally desired and/or anticipated!
We are contacting you as a potential contributor to our book. The attachments contain an explanation of the submission process and our Statement of Release. If you prefer, you can simply visit this website to learn more: www.lifedancecoach.com/letters. We hope you will choose to contribute.
